The bushco-loving, peace-hating, right-wing bloggers and gundits are going ape-shit tonight over Matt Dregg's report about the mysterious X that invaded Cheney's live televised speech at the American Enterprise Institute. The X flashed several times for an x-tremely long 1/16 of a second. Of course the blottospheric geniuses have already got it all figured out.
It's an another x-ample of the of the MSM' s disloyal, treasonous and conspiratorial behaviour. Of course CXX yet again proves it's left-wing, pornographic bias. Why not the letter "A" or "D" or even "G"? Why an "X"? I'm hoping that this and other related questions get answered over the next few days by the internet's X-Men.
Note the CXX caption, "I do not believe it is wrong to criticize." Just ask Kerry, Cindy Sheehan, Murtha, McCain, Wilson, Michael Moore, the Clintons and every other drive-by smear victim.
Here's a few choice contortions, distortions and mental abortions.
All right, enough already but it is x-hilirating to watch the guardians of the gulags get this veXed when they are subjected to the humiliation of seeing their beloved big daddy treated with less than the x-haustive, x-acting, all-encompassing, unquestioning support that they x-pect he should receive. Is this the same CNN who in 2004 uploaded a photo of the campaigning Pres. Bush with a label something like, “dumbass.jpg”? - California Conservative
It's reminiscent of the MSM photo doctoring of Condi Rice's eyes and the Netscape/CNN.com editors' post-election photo pranks on images of George W. and Laura Bush. - Michelle Malkin
I am sure this is just an incredible coincidence. I mean, it could just as easily been Hillary Clinton or Harry Reid or Teddy Kennedy or Joe Wilson or Cindy Sheehan with a subliminal “X” on their faces. It wasn’t though, was it? - Polipundit
CNN will find a way to spin it as a harmless, meaningless error. - Daily PunditThere ought to be a congressional investigation, supreme court inquiry and grand jury. Polunatic

Millions of unsuspecting cable subscribers watching the Vice President speak live on TV are paying for the privilage of being subjected to subliminal bashing experiments by a major news network. What a hoot.
Anyone with any knowledge of how TV works
behind the scenes, like me, with 22 years as
a technical director, will tell you that the CNN
X was certainly a glitch. I've had the same thing
happen to me at my station. It can be a computer
glitch or human error but whichever it was, only
the ignorant fools out there would believe it
was on purpose.
There is a report out there that one guy in the studio laughed when this happened. We may never know whether this was truly a "glitch" or perhaps a purposeful act by some lone "left wing" nutjob.
The network suits explained the "X" device as a cue placed at the end of video taped segments to mark the point where they would insert the network logo or return to the studio, (whatever the case may be). But this was live.
The point I am making is that major networks ought to maintain a higher standard of technical ability, so that whatever programing they broadcast (even if its Al Gore) is not getting hacked along the way.
The proof is in:
A caller phoned the network to complain about CNN flashing an "X' over Cheney as he gave an address live from Washington. An operator at CNN explained to the caller that the network was exercising "freedom of speech" and badgered the caller with: "Was it not freedom of speech? Yes or No?".
The CNN operator went on to say: "We did it just to make a point. Tell them to stop lying, Bush and Cheney," the CNN operator also said to the caller: "Bring our soldiers home." and topped the whole thing off with this gem: "If you don't like it, don't watch."
The coverup begins:
Laurie Goldberg, Senior Vice President for Public Relations with CNN, released this statement:
"A Turner switchboard operator was fired today after we were alerted to a conversation the operator had with a caller in which the operator lost his temper and expressed his personal views -- behavior that was totally inappropriate. His comments did not reflect the views of CNN. We are reaching out to the caller and expressing our deep regret to her and apologizing that she did not get the courtesy entitled to her."
The proof is in? This proves nothing. And if you believe that CNN is a left-wing, liberal network, I've got a bridge for sale on some prime Florida land.
Ted Turner, CNN Head Honcho, Clinton pal and former Jane Fonda hubby running a "left-wing, liberal network"? Say it ain't so...
Here is the story, news fans:
CNN Caught Off-Guard
CNN may have violated a few federal laws (subliminal messages for one). Looks like we may see an FCC and Congressional investigation after all.
I think that nothing short of the televised torture, followed by a public execution of those responsible for desecrating the Veep is truly in order.
Maybe one day soon CNN will go the way of the T-ReX and become eXtinct over this one.
It was one-seventh of a second. Who cares? Oh, such clever placements of the letter X in all of your words in this historic post! lmao
Glad you're amused. 1/7 of a second is about the attention span of those who believe CNN is a left-wing news outlet.
